After the 2007 Lesvos trip, I am keen to repeat it. Beach Activities were just great with upbeat and helpful staff that explained everything really well and encouraged and included everyone, especially those with not much experience, like me. The waterskiing was free and they also did organise canoe trips such as stopping off for a coffee in town! Not being able to drive my own boat, it was easy to get plenty of rides on the little Dart Cats which really wizz along for a very satisfactory chill out experience. The Bikes provided were top notch, with dinky gloves included and lots of nearby interesting places / sculptures, turtles river and bars to cycle to. 5 minutes walk away was a local village with shops and even an internet cafe hanging over the sea front on stilts! Not to mention a mix of several bars, from pretty basic - to very smart - to quite edgy and funky - or was that all just us! With such a large group of dancers, there were many more than enough dance lessons in the hotel, covering widely differing dance styles, when I got time to go to them and plenty of opportunities to dance informally or freestyle. I went to Colona Antigua on Sept 2nd 2005 for two weeks. It was the best sailing holiday ever with superb facilities. Ski & Rock provide dance lessons and freestyle with their dance instructors and DJ, which made the evenings as much fun as the day. The quality of dance lessons was even better than the sailing lessons. What a sociable friendly bunch of live wires. I booked with over 100 others, but as soon as I arrived at Gatwick I felt welcomed and included. Ski & Rock added day tours and additional culture tours as well as ensuring everyone had someone to sail & dance with. They even gave me a free trip on a sailing Yacht. Definately recomend going with this group even if you cant dance..! but I guess that is the point..! Kevin Hardy Antigua 2005
Such a friendly and interesting crowd of people meant the holiday exceeded my expectations. Most people came out of there shells very quickly, and some of course were never in them. I think the holiday was good value for money. I particularly liked the variety of water sports available. As a beginner at dinghy sailing I found the protection from wind at this particular resort about right and the Watersports staff were very helpful. There was plenty to do and it was fun. I booked the sail watersport/dance holiday because I had enjoyed the ski/dance holidays run by Peter Kershaw and was not disappointed. As a complete novice I found the sailing wonderful and the watersports a challenge. The company was excellent and the mix of the group meant that there was something for everyone. Yet another fabulous trip organised by ski and rock. If you haven't booked one of these trips then why not? You can do as much or as little as you like, and even though I booked the two weeks it still wasn't long enough. Its great fun to do a holiday with such fun people. So don't just look at the leaflets and the posters wishing you had the nerve to book. You don't have to worry that you don't know anyone, that doesn't last long. Lynne Wareing, Greece Sept 2004
